Are you looking for a new gaming phone this festive season? If so, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is launching in India very soon, and the date is almost official. Infinix has confirmed that the Infinix GT 50 Pro will launch in India on October 27, 2026. In this post, I’ll explain in simple terms what we know, as well as what you don’t know yet.
When Will the Infinix GT 50 Pro Launch in India?
Good news first. Infinix has told us the date. The Infinix GT 50 Pro launch date in India is October 27, 2026. The company revealed it through a fun fan campaign called Game Together, where people clicked a meter on the Infinix India website to unlock the date.
However, this phone isn’t new to the world. It launched globally on April 24th, so it’s been almost six months since it launched in India. In my experience, this lag is common for Infinix. This also gives us some information about the Infinix GT 50 Pro’s specifications ahead of its Indian launch.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Flipkart Launch Details
Now let’s talk about where you can buy it. The Infinix GT 50 Pro Flipkart partnership is confirmed, and the phone will be sold only on Flipkart. So you will not see it on other big shopping sites at the start. Infinix has also confirmed two colors, Black Abyss and Red Blaze.
However, the sale date and launch offers are not out yet. Last year, my cousin grabbed a gaming phone on the first day of a Flipkart sale. He saved some money with a bank offer, but the phone sold out in a few hours. So if you want the Infinix GT 50 Pro, keep your account ready and watch for the sale alert.
How Can You Get Ready for the Infinix GT 50 Pro Sale?
- Update the Flipkart app and turn on notifications for the phone page.
- Save your card or UPI details for fast payment.
- Check bank offers before the sale starts.
- Compare two or three phones in your budget first.
What Is the Infinix GT 50 Pro Expected Price in India?
Price is the big question, right? Infinix has not shared the Indian price. However, the phone launched in Indonesia at roughly ₹35,000 for the 12GB + 256GB model and about ₹40,000 for the 12GB + 512GB model. Because of this, many reports estimate the Infinix GT 50 Pro expected price in India at around ₹35,000.
Please remember that this is only a guess. The older GT 30 Pro started at ₹24,999 in India. If the new phone really costs ₹35,000, that is a big jump. Tell me the truth, would you pay that much for a gaming phone from Infinix? I would wait for the real price before deciding.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Expected Specifications and Features
Display and Performance
- Display: 6.78-inch AMOLED, 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, up to 4,500 nits peak brightness
- Chip: MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultimate (some sites list a different chip, so wait for Infinix to confirm)
- Memory: up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage in the global version
- Software:XOS 16 based on Android 16
Cooling, Battery and Gaming Extras
Infinix is talking a lot about HydroFlow liquid cooling, RGB lights, and GT Trigger 2.0 shoulder buttons. The phone is also reported to have a 6,500mAh battery and a 50MP main camera. The design is inspired by a supercar, and Infinix is teasing a wider gaming accessory family too.
In my experience, cooling matters more than raw power. A phone that gets hot will slow down after 20 minutes of gaming. So I want to see real tests of the Infinix GT 50 Pro heat before I trust the claims.
What Looks Good and What Looks Worrying?
- Good: Smooth 144Hz AMOLED screen, strong chip, big battery, liquid cooling, and real shoulder triggers.
- Good: The Flipkart exclusive sale makes buying easy for most Indian buyers.
- Not so good: The expected price may be high for a brand like Infinix.
- Not so good: Official Indian specs, price, and update promise are still unknown.
- Not so good: RGB lights and a loud gaming look may not suit everyone, especially if you like a simple phone.
Should You Wait for the Infinix GT 50 Pro?
If you are a gamer, I think waiting for October 27 is smart, since it is only a few weeks away. The Infinix GT 50 Pro India launch will show the real price, bank offers, and sale date. If you need a phone today, though, do not wait. Buy something that fits your budget.
Also compare it with other gaming phones in the same range, like the POCO X8 series. If you think as I do, you should always check two or three options before you click the buy button, buddy.
